new low review

http://n-e-w-l-o-w.tumblr.com/
Tara cook came out of nowhere and literally eradicated the scene with her niche artwork.

art is a form of expression that is concerned more with content, context, and concept than audience expectations and entertainment value.
And boy does tara cook
take it to a new level
or a new low... might i say
.............art lol

new low: its on gertrude st in fitzroy.
so young, so much passion and creativity
just being harnessed into a little ball right in the epicentre of everything hot right now in melbourne

whats hot:
stitches in my head zine http://stitchesinmyhead.blogspot.com.au/
and their expansive knowledge of all music genres. thanks christina!!!!!!!
go you good thing
more girls doing zines!
YEEAAHHHH!
christina just writes great reviews of NOISE releases sometimes in her PUNK zine!
"Junk Sick - Rising Damp
i have no idea how to review this stuff. when i go see a bunch of noise i can distinguish whats good and bad, but how do you describe whats going on without using the usual 'there were pedals, mixers and lots of leads...' line. i guess junk sick sounds like arranged and organized noise. its not just a bunch of shit thrown together in the hopes that it'll sound like something crazy and destructive, its good noise because its been planned and executed, like a successful plot to destroy the world....."
._.

today us two editors of whatshot were in brunswick in a cafe
sipping our coffes, havin' a bit of a bitch
then we went mosey'ing on down
sydney road
and accidentally bump into peter hyde
we were like
"fancy seeing you here peter!"
and he insisted on taking us to see an arty movie.
he wouldn't take no for an answer
then he treated us to brunch.
ol' pete considers himself to be a bit of a coffee connoisseur, so he
took us editors to hhis favrite little cafe to finish off the day
